“Running Around the World!” - Friday, October 4th, 2019

Our 12th Annual Jog-A-Thon is a school-wide event that promotes fun and fitness while raising funds for BSCO’s annual budget. Students will solicit pledges/donations, then run, jog, or walk their way to the finish line. The money raised supports programs that directly enrich students' education and experience here at Bonny Slope. Colorful student materials will go home in every backpack on Friday, September 6, 2019. Information on fundraising methods, matching funds, and school and individual prizes will be included.

Leading up to the event there are opportunities to contribute in many capacities including donation of raffle prizes, event sponsorship, and offering your time to help with things like creating video, graphic design, photography, etc. Additionally, be on the look-out for the Jog-a-Thon Sign- up Genius to sign up to help on the day of the event.

This is such a fun event and your participation is vital to help the event run smoothly.

*Please note: A background check via the mIP system is required to volunteer/visit during school hours.

Update April 16, 2019: Post-Auction Opportunities STILL Available!

Our “Swing Into Spring” Auction was a night to remember! THANK YOU to every guest, volunteer, sponsor, and donor who helped make our sixth annual event an incredible celebration.

Even with the big night behind us, there are STILL opportunities available to join the fun and support our students.  Check them out below and purchase yours at

We are excited to formally invite you to this year’s Bonny Slope auction. This event raises money to support to all of our BSCO programs which were recently highlighted at our winter community meeting. These programs connect with your student in a variety of ways such as technology updates for the classroom and ongoing teacher support.  This is part of what makes Bonny Slope Elementary such a great school!  Another part is our community. That is you and all of your support. So come out and join in on the fun of the auction.

Book a sitter, purchase tickets to the auction, check out the raffles and teacher experience packages also available for purchase, and get ready to experience TopGolf gameplay fun.  We are very excited for our new night and our new venue which will be the perfect backdrop to meet some new BSE friends, while supporting BSCO programs like Art Literacy, Coder in Residence, Science Night, Bobcat Trail Club, Geography Club, Parent Education Nights, Back to School Picnic, Carnival, Monster Mash, and so much more.

Visit to grab your tickets today!

Bridge the Gap

(formerly Write-A-Check)

Our spring fundraiser is where you simply write a check or donate online to the BSCO. Based on community feedback, we are keeping it plain and simple and will not ask your child to sell wrapping paper, cookie dough or wreaths.  Instead, every donation will go directly to BSCO's programs. These donations are tax deductible and many companies will provide matching funds. All donation information is strictly confidential. This program provides a simple, easy, no-fuss way to contribute and is only held if Jog-a-Thon and Auction don't fulfill our budgetary needs.

Matching Funds

Many local employers provide matching funds for donations to BSCO. Below is a partial list of companies (some with links) that have matched eligible donations in the past. The list is not comprehensive. Please check with your human resources department to find out if your company matches employee donations to non-profits. Please contact our Matching Funds Coordinator if you would like to provide additional information or find an error about your company’s matching program.

Box Tops

Box Tops is changing to fit today's families. The new and improved Box Tops mobile app uses state-of-the-art technology to scan your store receipt, find participating products and instantly add Box Tops to your school's earnings online.

The BSCO Coordinator will still collect physical Box Tops and send them in. Our school receives $0.10 per each box top. Throughout the school year, the BSCO Coordinator also tracks the number of box tops and provides a fun incentive to our student body.
