Raptor and ParentSquare are not connected. Volunteering is therefore a 2-step process:

Get background-checked in Raptor and get your approval email
Search open volunteer opportunities in ParentSquare and sign up
- Please DO NOT sign up for volunteer shifts if you have not completed your background check in Raptor. You will not be granted entry to the school.

Huidige behoeften - Deze week

Productieondersteuning: Kom op dinsdag en donderdag om te kopiëren, sorteren, nieten, lamineren, knippen en printen voor projecten die het kantoor of de leraren nodig hebben.

P.A.W.S Team (Grade-level Support): Classroom support for teachers is changing. Please consider signing up to provide support for teachers in your kiddo's grade. You'll work together to divid and conquer so the more the merrier!

BTC (Bobcat Trail Club): Monday and Thursday mornings 7:45 am - 8:10 am, starting on Sep 9 - We need 5+ volunteers to help with this running/walking program designed to encourage fitness in a fun way! Before school on Mondays and Thursdays, kids run or walk laps on the school track and BSCO volunteers help the kids record their completed laps.

Lost & Found Support: Help ons om spullen met namen erop terug te geven aan studenten en de rest voor de zomer tentoon te stellen. Meld je aan voor een specifieke dag, maar kom op elk gewenst moment.

Nieuwe mogelijkheden toegevoegd

Geo Club Check Day: Wednesday, Sep 25, shifts by grade level throughout the day - Help quiz students on maps and landmarks that they've studied for that month's specific country/area.

Picture Day: Thursday, Sep 26, 2 shifts, 8:15 am - 11:15 am and 11:00 am - 2:00 pm - Come help make Picture Day run smoothly. Volunteers will help get kids lined up with their picture packet & make sure their hair is just right. We might need some help escorting kids to & from the classroom as well.

*Free picture packets are available for Picture Day Volunteers during their shift. They will need to order with the envelope (not online) and use the tickets provided.

Lost & Found Support: Help us get things with names on them back to students! Anything unmarked will be photographed to share with the community. Please sign up for a specific day but come in at any time.

Vacatures voor commissieleider/fondsenwerving

GeoClub: In need of additional support. GeoClub is a thriving committee that fosters a love of geography in students in 1st - 5th grade. There is one check-day per month. Currently this committee has one lead and is looking for one or two more people to help manage logistics.

Auction: In need of additional support. This fundraising event has an experienced committee of five and is looking to add two to five more people. This is a great opportunity to get involved and learn more about hosting the school auction. If you are a party planner, this is the job for you!

Production: In need of additional support. The production room at the school serves the teachers and staff. There is always something to do. There is currently one committee lead and we are seeking one to two more people. The work load is fairly light but it makes a huge impact!

Community Garden: Leadership needed. Several of our teachers are passionate about the value of teaching kids about gardening and plant life cycles. The garden committee needs two to five leads to mange tasks such as weeding, organizing the removal of green waste, helping source plants, and working with the teachers to keep the garden in shape for lessons. **Bonus: If you are into landscape design, the garden needs a refresh and we would love to have someone coordinate with the teachers to update the space!

Carnival: Leadership needed. The spring Carnival is one of the most anticipated events at the end of the school year. Four to eight people are wanted to organize the event. There is a detailed plan from previous leadership available. Planning for this event is easier the sooner it is started. Help us send the school year off with a bang!
