The 10th Annual Monster Mash is set to spook again on Friday, 10/27, from 6-8pm. This fall tradition is jam-packed with awesome activities for our Bonny Slope families, including a Glow-in the Dark Dance Party, the mysterious Haunted House, and the always popular Cake Walk.
New this year will be the Monster Mash Treat Trail, which replaces the hallway Trick or Treating. Earn your treats and test your skills by completing six spooky challenges. Retrieve a letter at each challenge station in order to collect your treat bag when you can reveal the Monster Mash Treat Trail word puzzle.
Families are encouraged to come in costume, but please leave the truly scary items at home. No blood, masks, or weapons will be allowed. Pizza Schmizza will again be on-hand for pizza and beverage purchases, beginning at 6pm in the cafeteria.
This fun-filled evening would not be possible without the time and talents of our greater parent community. Volunteers are needed to work various jobs including decorations, line control, and the registration desk.
Donations of candy, small baked goods, and jack o’lanterns are also needed. Candy donations can be dropped off at the front office next week (look for the monster) and store-bought baked goods and jack o’lanterns will be collected Thursday, 10/26, and Friday, 10/27. All contributions are greatly appreciated!
Once again, this Monster Mash is free of charge due to the incredible fundraising effort in 2016-17. Questions can be directed to Barbara Simon & Hannah Donohue, Monster Mash chairs (firstname.lastname@example.org).
