  • Pancake Breakfast Reservations | BSCO - Bonny Slope

    Pancake Breakfast May 17th, 2025 Flapjacks and Flowers BSCO is excited to welcome you to our annual community Breakfast Event! Pancake Breakfast is a free event, hosted by BSCO, and open to all students, families, and staff at Bonny Slope. Our fourth and fifth grade students will show you to your table, take your order, and serve you breakfast. Come enjoy pancakes and the company of friends! In partnership with the Kid Governor of Oregon program, BSCO is soliciting donations to the Beaverton Resource Center. Donations will be accepted in the weeks leading up to Pancake Breakfast and the day of the event. Click here to learn more about the Beaverton Resource Center. We are looking for donations of: deodorant baby wipes baby powder bar soap travel-sized toiletries Donations are optional and are not required to attend Pancake Breakfast About our Event Reservations for Pancake Breakfast are required and seating is limited. If you do not have a reservation, we will do our best to accommodate you if there is room available in the cafeteria . If the time slot is fully booked, we will have refreshments available by the playground. Please choose a time that works for your family and RSVP for the number of guests coming . You will get a confirmation email after you submit your reservation. If you are unable to keep your reservation, please email committees@bonnyslopebsco.org to have your reservation adjusted or canceled. Please arrive 10 minutes before your seating to allow time to get checked in. This event will be staffed by a mix of parents and students. We all want this event to be special - please be patient with all of the helpers. Seatings are 30 minutes long. One of our student hosts will let you know when it is nearly time for the next group to be seated. Please join us by the playground for more refreshments and to continue your conversations with friends! Please let us know if you will need any dietary accommodations when you RSVP, such as gluten free or vegan options, and for how many people. Reservation system closes on May 12th. Please make your reservations before then! This is not a drop-off event: all children must be supervised. Reminder that the multi-stall bathrooms are for children ONLY. Adults must use the single-occupancy bathrooms. You can ask any of the hosts for directions to the adult-appropriate facilities.   • Fundraising Initiatives | BSCO - Bonny Slope

    Current Fundraising initiatives As we progress, the community may be asked to vote again once we have new information. If approved, details about our fundraising goals for each project will be included. Track Renovation Renovation initiative approved by the community in the 2024-25 school year. Update: Beaverton School District has been able to allocate funds towards the BSE track renovation, minimizing the amount of money that BSCO will need to fund-raise. However, since they are contributing the bulk of the funding, they control the timeline. As of May 2025, the start date for the BSE track renovation will be some time in the 2026-27 school year . More details tba. Track Renovation Estimates: $196,000.00 to widen, repair, and resurface the Bonny Slope Track Beaverton School District will contribute $150,000 from the Facilities Modernization Funds BSCO will need to contribute the balance (currently estimated at $46,000) BSCO has been made aware that the cost of the track project could be as high as $317,000 depending on soil quality, water management, and the need for a retailing wall. Support Hungry Families Make a donation to the BSE Pantry by using the QR code or clicking the link . Any donation value makes a difference. Funds are used to help feed families at Bonny Slope.     Committee Lead Support Request Volunteer support Request Community Communication General Support for leads You are a committee lead looking for volunteers We can Help with that Please read carefully before submitting a Volunteer Request. To request volunteers for your committee or event, you will need to provide the following: A description of your event that can be copied into ParentSquare for people to find you The date(s) and time(s) of the event Detailed information about what you need volunteers to do . If you have multiple jobs, please list them all The number of people you need doing each job Some activities planned by committees and some events require a SchoolDude reservation. Reservations are processed through the school district and can take 30 days for approval. Plan ahead! This form cannot be used for classroom volunteers; teachers will enter their volunteer needs themselves. This form is for BSCO committees and events ONLY. If you have questions, especially if you are unsure about SchoolDude reservations or have never requested volunteers before, please email committees@bonnyslopebsco.org ParentSquare Volunteer Request Form This form should be used by Committee and Event Leads to request volunteer shifts be added to ParentSquare. Submissions should be as detailed as possible. Incomplete information will result in delays in getting your request to the community. Volunteers will help get kids lined up with their picture packet & make sure their hair is just right. We might need some help escorting kids to & from the classroom as well. * Free picture packets are available for Picture Day Volunteers during their shift. This is a great opportunity to get involved and learn more about hosting the school auction. If you are a party planner, this is the job for you! Production: In need of additional support. The production room at the school serves the teachers and staff. There is always something to do. There is currently one committee lead and we are seeking one to two more people . The work load is fairly light but it makes a huge impact! Carnival: Leadership needed. The spring Carnival is one of the most anticipated events at the end of the school year. Four to eight people are wanted to organize the event. There is a detailed plan from previous leadership available. Planning for this event is easier the sooner it is started.
