Do you have a green thumb....or brown? Every winter/spring teachers are given an opportunity to have their kids spend some time learning about the garden. This can take many forms from planting vegetables or flowers to more in depth lessons if the parent volunteer and/or teacher is interested (we can spoon feed you ideas!).
We are looking for people who would be interested in helping do this for their child's classroom. This is a great way for parents who don't have time to volunteer regularly to interact with their child's class just 1-2 times for less than an hour. The kids love seeing what they plant mature and harvesting it when it's ready!
If you are interested please contact Brenda Swanson or Kelly Ward at firstname.lastname@example.org.
