This week was a busy one at Bonny Slope. Monday night was the third parent education night with guest speaker Jeff Sosne from the Children's Program. Jeff talked with parents about the importance of raising children with persistence and work ethic. He reminded us that persistence and work ethic are key factors when determining long-term success and gave parents strategies on how to increase motivation in our children. Nearly 65 parents and staff attended this informational night. Thank you to BSCO for sponsoring this successful event!
Our Artist in Residence began working with third graders this week. Anna Hoye is teaching students how to mix science and art to create beautiful masterpieces. We are hopeful that all students will have their work of art on display during the science fair. A huge thank you goes to Wendy Russell for writing the grant to make this all happen. Thank you!
If you are planning to volunteer at the Valentine's parties tomorrow, you may want to carpool. Parking spaces are a rare find during these all-school events.
Have a great President's Day 3 day weekend!
