The Bonny Slope Community Organization proudly sponsors and supports the majority of the student enrichment programs for students at Bonny Slope. Fundraising dollars support the arts, author visits, science classes, technology purchases, and direct classroom support. Details of our fundraisers are as follows:


“Running Around the World!” - Friday, October 5th, 2018

Our 11th Annual Jog-A-Thon is a school-wide event that promotes fun and fitness while raising funds for BSCO’s annual budget. Students will solicit pledges/donations, then run, jog, or walk their way to the finish line. The money raised supports programs that directly enrich students' education and experience at Bonny Slope. Colorful student materials will go home in every backpack on Friday, August 31, 2018. Information on fundraising methods, matching funds, and school and individual prizes will be included. Volunteers are crucial to the success of the Jog-A-Thon. Please be on the look-out for the Jog-a-Thon Sign-up Genius on the BSCO website or in the Paw Prints. This is such a fun event to watch your child run/walk and help the event run smoothly*.

*Please note: A background check via the mVP system is required to volunteer/visit during school hours.  Make sure you are registered well beforehand.

Bonny Slope Community Organization is thrilled to announce the 2019 Bobcat Soiree & Auction will be celebrated on Sunday, April 14th from 5-8pm.

So please mark your calendars and book a babysitter! We can't wait for you to join the BSCO community to help support this event and raise funds to advocate for our school, our teaching staff and most importantly our students.  Donations raised at the event supply the programs that your students love and make our school stand out. Programs like Art Literacy, Artist In Residence, Bobcat Trail, Community Garden, Family Movie Night, Geography Club, Monster Mash, Oregon Battle Of the Books, Science Fair, and all the other wonderful community building events that occur through out the year are made possible by this event.

Bridge the Gap

(formerly Write-A-Check)

Our spring fundraiser is where you simply write a check or donate online to the BSCO. Based on community feedback, we are keeping it plain and simple and will not ask your child to sell wrapping paper, cookie dough or wreaths.  Instead, every donation will go directly to BSCO's programs. These donations are tax deductible and many companies will provide matching funds. All donation information is strictly confidential. This program provides a simple, easy, no-fuss way to contribute and is only held if Jog-a-Thon and Auction don't fulfill our budgetary needs.


Matching Funds

Many local employers provide matching funds for donations to BSCO. Below is a partial list of companies (some with links) that have matched eligible donations in the past. The list is not comprehensive. Please check with your human resources department to find out if your company matches employee donations to non-profits. Please contact our Matching Funds Coordinator if you would like to provide additional information or find an error about your company’s matching program. 

Box Tops

The Boxtops 4 Education fundraiser works by families buying everyday items then clipping the box top from the package. For a list of current products visit Boxtops 4 Education web site. Send the box tops to school in a baggie with your student and have them drop off the box tops at the collection box by the entrance of the school.

The BSCO Coordinator will then collect all the Box Tops and send them in. Our school receives $0.10 per each box top. Throughout the school year, the BSCO Coordinator also tracks the number of box tops per classroom and the winning classroom receives a treat.
